We had zone conference this week. It was really good. President always has a lesson and he makes it interactive and really wonderful. It´s always a plus to see the old crew too.
The Aguilars are still doing great. They´re quite a strength for me. It´s kind of a nice feeling when the biggest and meanest looking people are your friends and really like you. We only had 55 this week.
In December a woman came up to me and Wight and asked if we were missionaries. She told us her parents were members and they had both died and they were both REALLY happy in life and she wants the same happiness for her kids. Then she asked us when she could be baptized. She has a couple of sick kids and bad work schedule so it took her a bit to come to church but she´s getting baptized this Saturday. Her name´s Rosalina. Absolutely wonderful woman. She reads at least 2 or 3 chapters a day in the Book of Mormon. The only problem for the baptism will be her size. It took us a while to find baptismal clothing. This will be wonderful.
We had some sad news this week about Alberto. We didn´t know the extent of his punishment. He didn´t tell us he was on house arrest because he thought church would be an exception. One of his best friends is a cop, ironically, and he told his friend about coming to church with us. The friend then told him that church was definitely NOT an exception. We´re still teaching the rest of the family and they love the church, we just don´t think we can baptize Alberto now.
